This journey takes me back to 2011, when our children were still little, and every moment felt even more special.

A Cozy Start from Copenhagen

Our journey began from Copenhagen as we boarded the DFDS cruise in the afternoon. Around 4 PM, the ship slowly moved towards Oslo.

We stood together on the deck to watch the beginning of our trip. The weather was absolutely splendid, with soft sunshine and a gentle breeze that made everything feel calm and magical.

We were three families traveling together, and happiness was everywhere. The kids were busy in their own little world, laughing and chatting together.

The little girls were posing happily like models, enjoying their playful photo moments, while the little boys were running around, dancing, and playing freely. Their laughter filled the air and made the moment even more special.

We had brought homemade food like sandwiches, pizza, and pasta, which made the journey feel warm and personal. Later, we relaxed in our comfortable rooms and spent time in the kids play area. While the children played, we sat nearby talking and playing cards together.

It was simple, peaceful, and full of joy. 

A Beautiful Day in Oslo

We arrived in Oslo in the morning and had a full day to explore the city. The weather remained bright and refreshing, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. 

To make the day relaxed with kids, we took a hop-on hop-off bus to explore the city comfortably. 

We visited Vigeland Sculpture Park and enjoyed walking through beautiful green spaces and artistic landmarks. 

We also explored historic surroundings and admired the charm of the city. 

Before returning, we enjoyed a delicious pizza together in Oslo, sharing laughter and memories from the day. 

Journey Back to Copenhagen

After a full and joyful day, we returned to the cruise and began our journey back to Copenhagen.

In the evening, we enjoyed dinner on board, especially the delicious burgers. We spent more time together talking, laughing, and playing cards while the kids stayed close, still enjoying their playful moments. 

We had planned to go dancing that night after the kids fell asleep. But the sea became rough, and I started feeling seasick. Feeling dizzy and uncomfortable, I took some medicine and went to rest, and our dancing plan had to be skipped.

Even though our dancing plan didn’t quite happen, everything else turned out beautifully, and it became a memory we will always cherish.

A Gentle Ending

The next morning, I felt fresh again. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast while looking out at the calm sea, holding on to the last peaceful moments of our journey.

Around 10 AM, we arrived back in Copenhagen, bringing our trip to a beautiful and memorable end.

Memories That Stay Forever

This journey wasn’t about perfect plans, but about togetherness,
laughter, small moments, and memories that will stay with us forever. It became one of those trips we will always carry in our hearts.
