My husband and I went for a drive and found a beautiful little town just a few miles from home. Quiet, peaceful and full of the kind of views we both love.
We walked by the water, enjoyed the evening light, the boats, the gardens and the calmness around us. It was one of those simple evenings when you don’t need much, just a beautiful place and time together.
And then came the big moon, almost like the perfect ending to our little evening escape.
Sometimes, the most beautiful moments are found close to home.
